The Foundation is a tax-exempt non-profit organization that has served the San Luis Obispo County Library since 1996. Our mission is to strengthen the San Luis Obispo County Library System through ambassadorship and financial support.
The Foundation board members are volunteers who believe libraries are at the heart of a community’s cultural life. We work here. We raise children here. We retire here. We passionately believe that supporting literacy matters. The Foundation exists to support the libraries of this county today, tomorrow and in the future to come.
The Foundation’s board members are Juliane McAdam, president; Elizabeth Manak, vice president; Charlotte Alexander, treasurer; Kristy Lundstrum, secretary; Kristin Bridgeford, Marlys McPherson, and Marlie Schmidt, members at large.
