Best-selling author and writing coach Anne Perry joined author Victoria Zackheim at the Cuesta College Cultural & Performing Arts Center on September 19, 2014, for a discussion entitled “Put Your Heart On the Page,” in which the authors discussed how to silence the inner voice that censors what we think or do.
Due to visa issues, Ms. Perry took part on stage via Skype. Ms. Perry is the author of 87 books, with 26 million copies still in circulation.
She was named on of The Times of London’s 100 Masters of Crime Writing. After the presentation, authors Barbara Abercrombie and Mara Purl joined Ms. Perry and Ms. Zackheim for readings and a discussion of Women’s Voices.
Ms. Perry’s appearance is made possible by the Foundation for San Luis Obispo County Public Libraries and the Central Coast Writers’ Conference.
